Michika LGA is a big commercial town & doubles as a local government area headquarters and the area council consists of the districts of Bazza, Futa, Garta, Madzi, Michika, Nkafa, Zah, Minkisi, Ghunchi, Jigalambu. Wuro Ngiki, Moda, Diaka, Ghenjuwa, Sina.Michika Local Government Area is one of the serving 21 LGAs in Adamawa state comprising of various towns, districts villages and clans. The Executive Chairman is the head of the council and is responsible for the grass root development of the communities under its jurisdiction, and as well represents the people in state matters.
